Julian Draxler – Schalke to Man City – Click the arrow to see who else could make the move from Bundesliga to Premier League – The Schalke prodigy has been linked with a move to the Premier League for some time and if recent reports are anything to go by then he could be making that move as soon as January. According to the Daily Star, Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini wants to bring the 21-year-old to the Etihad in a £25m deal, a fee that meets the Konigsblauens valuation of their attacking hotshot. 5 1. Loris Karius – Mainz to Arsenal – Click the arrow to see who else could make the move from Bundesliga to Premier League – One talent to keep an eye on during the January window is Mainz goalkeeper Loris Karius. The 21-year-olds contract is set to expire at the end of the season and, according to Sport Bild at least, could be on the move in January, with Mainz looking to cash in. The publication name Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund as his main suitors, tipping the Gunners to add him to their ever-expanding German contingent. We’re not sure if he smokes in the showers, though. 5 3. Philipp Wollscheid – Bayer Leverkusen to Stoke – Click the arrow to see who else could make the move from Bundesliga to Premier League – One player that looks almost nailed on to move in January is German international Philipp Wollscheid. The defender who was on loan at Mainz until recently looks to have secured a short-term move to Stoke, with Potters boss Mark Hughes commenting that the club have agreed the terms of a deal. 4. Ilkay Gundogan – Borussia Dortmund to Man United – Click the arrow to see who else could make the move from Bundesliga to Premier League – The Red Devils interest in Gundogan is well-reported, but according to German publication Kicker, it finally looks as though Dortmund will relent in their struggle to keep the midfielder. With the players contract set to expire in 2016, it is reported that the club will allow him to leave unless they can encourage him to sign a new deal. There are suggestions that he could depart even sooner though, with the Express touting January as a potential period. 5 5 5. Xherdan Shaqiri – Bayern Munich to Liverpool – It seems as though Xherdan Shaqiri has grown tired of sitting on the Bayern Munich bench and is ready leave the Allianz Arena in January, according to Sport Bild at least. Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport name Liverpool as being in pole position to land the Swiss international, with 15m the reported fee, although they also say that Inter Milan could spoil the party.
